The 10th Energy for Life Christmas Charity Ball for Children

On December 11, 2019, the 10th Anniversary Energy for Life Christmas Charity Ball for Children was held at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna.

More than 1,000 children from Austrian social and charitable institutions participated in the gala. A fascinating musical performance based on the story of Peter Pаn was prepared specially for the event, and staged by the renowned Austrian director Gernot Kranner.

As has become tradition, young dancers from the Thomas Elmayer Ballroom Dance School opened the ball with a Viennese waltz. The program also included Lara Voicu, winner of the song competition “Kiddy Contest 2019”, performers from the Puppet Theater and the Bubble Show, and young acrobats from The Freaks acrobatic show team. A particular highlight of the event were the ballet pieces performed by guests from St. Petersburg - students of the Vaganova Ballet Academy. The event culminated with a performance by the popular Austrian singer Sandra Pires, who in the costume of a Christmas Fairy sang traditional Christmas songs together with the children. The entire concert program was accompanied by an orchestra under the baton of Pavel Singer.

At the end of the event, every child received holiday treats and the symbol of the Ball - a teddy bear.

The event was organized by the Austrian non-profit organization Energy for Life – Social Foundation, and sponsored by Gazprom Export LLC.
