The musical theatrical performance was held in the Grand Hall of the D.D. Shostakovich St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonia under the joint cultural project of Gazprom PJSC and the Austrian company OMV AG.

Peter the Great in Liège

In June 1717, the Russian emperor Peter the Great arrived in the Belgian city of Liège during his second large tour through Europe. Three hundred years later in the center of Liège there was a gala ceremony for the unveiling of a monument to the Russian Emperor.

The Tenth International Peter the Great Congress Took Place in St. Petersburg

Over 100 applications for Congress participation were received from Russia, France, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Poland. About 60 of the best papers were selected for the plenary and section meetings.

Charity festival in St. Petersburg, devoted to Children’s Protection Day

This year, the organizers planned for the eve of the festival a whole series of events for the setup and outfitting with educational-developmental equipment of specialized institutions for disabled children. And of course, the central event of the International Day for the Protection of Children was definitely the festivities at the St. Petersburg Fairytale Theater.

The Grand Trianon Palace at Versailles hosted the official opening of the Russian-French exhibition project for which Gazprom Group has proudly served as general sponsor. The exhibit was opened by the Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.

The St.Petersburg players regained the Cup and expanded the ranks of the two-time trophy winners, scoring a victory in the fifth KHL road final playoff match against the Magnitogorsk Mettalurg.

The Third Festival of Russian Film in France, “When Russians Sing,” was held in Paris. The French public was treated to showings of roughly forty pictures of Russian film classics and modern Russian movies.

“Saint Louis and the Holy Relics of Sainte-Chapelle” at the Kremlin

The One-Pillar Chamber of Patriarch’s Palace at the Moscow Kremlin Museums hosted the official opening of a unique exhibition of medieval artwork from the collections of the Louvre Museum and the National Museum of the Middle Ages. The exposition features artefacts relating the life, exploits and legacy of King Louis IX of France.
