Photo Wheel in Kostroma

Following Smolensk region, Kostroma region on December 13 launched the first phase of Photo Wheel – an educational and informative program dedicated to the art of photography.

Photo Wheel

The first phase of the educational and informative program called Photo Wheel was kicked off on November 15 in Smolensk. The program is organized by cultural project RUSS PRESS PHOTO together with Gazprom Export and the For The Sake of the Future rehabilitation center.

On November 4th the Polish audience gathered in the National Philharmonic in Warsaw had a unique opportunity to be present at the opening of the Year of Sergei Rachmaninoff celebrating the 140th anniversary of his birth and marking the 70th anniversary of his death.

Medical assistance for children

Regular examinations, several operations and routine pre-planned treatment for children with impaired vision were carried out in October at the Igor Medvedev’s International Health Care Centre.

Charity event for visually impaired children

A photo exhibition of the Russian and Soviet winners of the World Press Photo 1955-2012, organized by the Russ Press Photo cultural project, was held in the Manege Exhibition Hall in St.Petersburg.
