REMIT Regulation

The European Union has adopted a Regulation on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (known as „REMIT”), which came into force on 28th December 2011.

REMIT aims to reduce instances of market abuse by providing an abuse prevention framework for wholesale energy markets. It also requires market participants to publicly disclose information in order to disable benefits of insider trading.

Pursuant to REMIT, Gazprom provides a disclosure of actual gas flows online.

Currently we have no additional REMIT releases.
