North Macedonia

The cooperation with North Macedonia in the gas sector began in 1991 with signing of a contract with Makpetrol A.D. for the construction of a gas trunkline and branches in the country on general contracting terms. Construction of the pipeline was completed in 1997, and Russian gas supplies began.

Natural gas supply is covered by annually concluded contracts with the Makpertrol A.D. company; and by the short-term agreements with TE-TO A.D. Skopje for gas supplies to the power plant of the same name. As of 31 December  2019, total sales to the country amounted to approximately 2 bcm of gas, including 296 mcm delivered in 2019.
