Synergy in Music in Singapore

Synergy in Music in Singapore

Gala performance of Russian musicians was held on October 28 in Singapore with great success as a part of Synergy in Music project.

The Synergy in Music project, launched in 2012, is part of Gazprom's initiative to forge deeper intercultural bonds between the flourishing Singapore Art scene and Russia's rich heritage of classical virtuosity. It aims to improve the cross-cultural exchange between Russia and Singapore as well as Asia-Pacific countries.

This year six of Russia's finest musical talents Alexander Buzlov, Tatiana Samouil, Evgeny Rumyantsev, Andrey Usov, Igor Naidin led by world-renowned and multiple award-winning violinist, Vadim Repin will bring timeless classical pieces to life at Synergy in Music 2014, an exclusive one-night-only gala concert at the beautifully refurbished Victoria Concert Hall. Along with its cultural component, the project is marked by its significant educational value. Supplementary to the gala concert, musicians also hold a multi-day series of master classes for students of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music Schools and other local music students at the School of the Arts (SOTA) - strengthening the cultural exchange both on and off stage. The revenues gathered from the concert will be used to support the Singapore International Violin Competition. The Synergy in Music project aims to expand beyond Singapore to further countries of the region.
