Gazprom’s Exports to the Far Abroad Countries in H1 2018 Amounted to 101.2 Bcm.

In the 1st half of 2018, Gazprom produced 253 bcm of gas. Compared with January-June 2017, the produced volume increased by 8.7% (20.2 bcm). In particular in June, production increased by 4.2% (1.4 bcm) – reaching 35.7 bcm, the maximum result for this month in the last seven years (since 2012).

On the domestic market in January-June Gazprom sold by 5.4% (6.8 bcm) more gas from national gas transportation network than in the 1st half of 2017.

For the first time in history Gazprom’s exports to the Far Abroad countries in H1 exceeded 100 bcm and reached 101.2 bcm. It is by 5.8% (5.5 bcm) more than in the same period of 2017.

In particular, Gazprom increased supplies to Germany by 12.4% (3.3 bcm), to Austria — by 54.1% (2 bcm), to the Netherlands — by 66.9% (1.4 bcm), to France — by 13% (0.7 bcm), to Croatia — by 48.5% (0.5 bcm).

The increase of purchase of Russian gas by Poland draws attention: in the 1st half of the year export to this country increased by 6.9% (0.4 bcm), including in June by 17.7%.
