From January to November 2018, Gazprom’s Exports to the Far Abroad Increased up to 179.9 bcm

From January to November 2018 Gazprom produced 451.1 bcm of gas which is 5.8% or 24.7 bcm more than compared to the same period of last year. Company’s sales from the Unified transportation system on the domestic market grew by 4% (8.2 bcm).

To the Far Abroad countries, during 11 months of 2018, Gazprom, according to preliminary data, exported 179.9 bcm of gas which is 4.5 bcm (2.6%) more than in January – November 2017, the record year so far, and 18.2 bcm (10.2%) more than in the same period of 2016.

In particular, gas exports to Germany grew in 11 months of 2018 by 9.6% (+4.6 bcm), to Austria – by 21% (+1.7 bcm), to the Netherlands – by 34.6% (+1.4 bcm), to France – by 6.4% (+0.7 bcm) compared to 11 months of 2017. Exports to Hungary grew by 9.6%, to the Czech Republic – by 7.8%, to Greece – by 13.4%, to Finland – by 10.6%, to Romania – by 25.4%.

Following the results of 11 months of 2018 Hungary and Greece have joined list of countries where Gazprom had supplied more gas than in the whole 2017. Earlier this indicator had been surpassed in Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
