Nord Stream 2 Gas Pipeline Has Been Granted Operations Permit on the Danish Continental Shelf

Denmark's energy market regulation authority, the Danish Energy Agency (DEA), has granted Nord Stream 2 AG company a permit to operate a section of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline on the Danish continental shelf. The relevant information was published on the regulator's website.

As noted by DEA, the permit is granted on a number of conditions to ensure a safe operation of the pipeline before it is commissioned as well as during the entire period of its operation.

The Nord Stream 2 AG applied for a permit to operate a section of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline on the Danish continental shelf on 18 November 2019. The construction permit for the Nord Stream 2 pipeline’s section in Denmark was issued by DEA on 30 October 2019.
