Beginning of Spring Characterized with High Demand for Gazprom's Export Supplies

According to preliminary data, from 1 January to 15 March, 2021, Gazprom’s gas production amounted to 112.4 bcm, which is by 8.4% (8.7 bcm) more than in the same period of 2020.

Exports to the Far Abroad countries increased to 42.9 bcm. This is by 28.3% (9.5 bcm) more than in the first 2.5 months of last year.

In particular, the deliveries increased to Germany (by 28.7%), Turkey (80,5%), Finland (74.2%), Serbia (61.5%), Romania (77.7%), Bulgaria (52.1%) and Greece (24.5%).

From 1 to 15 March, 2021, gas supplies to Turkey were 11.5 times higher  compared to the first half of March 2020.

Gas exports to China via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline regularly exceed  daily contractual obligations. The actual volume of deliveries from 1 March to 15 March, 2021 is 3.2 times higher than in the same period of 2020.
