Within 3.5 Months of 2021, Gas Exports to the Far Abroad Countries Amounted to 60.5 Bcm

In the middle of the calendar spring, the demand for Gazprom’s supplies in remains as high as in winter. Gazprom continued to increase the volume of gas production as well as supplies to domestic and foreign consumers compared to the last year.

According to preliminary data, from 1 January to 15 April, 2021, gas production amounted to 158.1 bcm, which is by 12% (17 bcm) more than in the same period of 2020.

Exports to the Far Abroad countries amounted to 60.5 bcm of gas. This is by 28.4% (by 13.4 bcm) more than within the first 3.5 months of 2020.

In particular, deliveries to Turkey increased by 116.5%, to Germany – by 34.5%, to Poland – by 19.6%, to Serbia – by 82.7%, to Romania – by 115.5%, to Greece – by 27.7%.

Gazprom’s supplies to China via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline are increasing as well.
