Blue Corridor – Gas into Engines 2021

Due to the tense epidemiological situation in the world, in 2021, the route of the Blue Corridor - Gas into Engines 2021 rally was limited to the territory of Russia: a convoy of gas-powered vehicles drove from Miass (Chelyabinsk Region), where Ural and Iveco trucks are manufactured, to Saint-Petersburg. The ceremonial finish took place on October 7 in the framework of the 10th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum. Within almost a month, the rally participants covered more than 3000 km and visited seven cities.

A rich business program has become an important element of the rally. Leading Russian NGV automakers hosted its events. Among them are Ural Automotive Plant in Miass, KAMAZ, and RariTEK in Naberezhnye Chelny, GAZ Group in Nizhny Novgorod, Volgobas in Vladimir. The Russian National Gas Engine Association and Gazprom Gas Engine Fuel provided key support to these events. Round tables during the rally were held in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The main topics of these events were the expanding the use of the gas fuel use in various sectors and technology development. Additionally, they focused on measures to support manufacturers and consumers of NGV equipment along with the development of related infrastructure, including on the Europe – China transit corridor.
