A match between veterans from the teams “Legends of Tractor” and “Gazprom Export” was held on March 12. The event took place at the ice arena of Chelyabinsk’s “Tractor” under the Future Cup tournament. The match ended with the score 8:4 in favor of the Gazprom Export ice team, led by Alexander Medvedev.

On November 19, Gazprom Export played the first in the history of Gazprom Export's footballer friendly match with Électricité de France, in the French town of Chantilly, near Paris. The Russian team, led by captain Alexander Medvedev, won with a convincing score of 8-0.

On 9 October the annual friendly match between Gazprom Export hockey team and hockey stars-veterans of German Eisbären took place on the “О2” arena in Berlin.

Hockey teams Gazprom Export and Veterans of SKA have played a friendly hockey match in St. Petersburg. The match, which took place on August 27 was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Russian hockey, as well as the start of the next Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) championship. The Gazprom Export team led by Alexander Medvedev won by 3-2.

The traditional VII Christmas International Amateur Ice Hockey Tournament for the prize of the President of Belarus in Minsk was held from 4 to 7 January. Teams from 8 countries attended the event.
